Carson Valley Psychological Services is primarily an assessment-focused practice. Our central work is psychological, neuropsychological, and forensic evaluation. We do offer psychotherapy services, but that is not the main focus of our practice.

If you are seeking psychotherapy with Dr. Wetterer, you can check his current availability by clicking the Headway network link below. Dr. Wetterer has partnered with Headway, a leading integrated telehealth network that handles all insurance paperwork and preauthorizations. For patients, we are pleased to offer two telehealth platforms, Sessions Health and Doxy.me, as a convenient alternative to in-office appointments for psychotherapy and psychological testing. Sessions Health is accessed through a simple link sent by text or email before your virtual visit. All you need is a smartphone or a computer with a webcam. All pre-visit paperwork and documentation is completed electronically through Sessions Health; you will be provided with an email link to the secure portal once your appointment is confirmed.

Psychotherapy services

We currently accept psychotherapy patients only through the Headway network. Please use the link above to check whether your insurance is in network. All psychotherapy scheduling is handled through Headway.

Evaluations

We do not accept insurance for forensic, neuropsychological, or general psychological evaluations. If you are seeking a standard, non-forensic psychodiagnostic evaluation, you can book directly using the Book Now link at the bottom of our home page.
